Some of the engineered timber flooring types we offer include:
Each of these wood types offers a different natural tone and grain patterning to suit your style and home.
We specialise in engineered wood flooring systems as opposed to single plank wood floors as they are far easier to install (don’t require a subfloor) on top of an existing floor.
Engineered wood floors are also far cheaper than other wood floors as they use layers of different woods to crate the planks this makes them cheaper than single sheet planks while still having the same visual appearance and feeling underfoot.
Come into our showroom or give our team a call and we can find an engineered flooring system for you.
Laminate floors can provide the look and feel of a wooden floor without the hassle of wood. Having come leagues over the last decade to the point where it is becoming incredibly difficult to tell the difference between wood and laminate floors.
Wood-look laminate floor planks are also cheaper than engineered wood while still being as easy to install. They come with a scratch resistant wear layer on top of each board that helps stop the panels from developing scratches from chairs and other furniture, whilst still maintaining the look of real wood!
Vinyl wood floors are the next level up from laminate floors they offer a similar appearance but have far better water resistance and durability.
Vinyl flooring has the same scratch resistant top layer but in vinyl floors, it is accompanied by a UV resistant layer that protects the design layer from fading.
The core of vinyl planks is a PVC or fibreglass combination that is entirely waterproof this protects the boards from warping due to moisture either from spills onto the floor or from the humidity in the air. This water resistance can be important in Queensland where the wet and humid seasons can turn your home into a very damp place.
Hybrid vinyl wood floors combine the rigidity of laminate floors with the water resistance and finish of a vinyl flooring system to create some of the best synthetic flooring systems on the market. Coming in a wide range of wood types and colours hybrid wood floors are some of the best non wood floors on the market!

Wood parquetry flooring is an excellent way to keep the classic sophistication of wood floors and with the addition of an eye catching design. Paquet floor styles involve arranging small blocks of wood in geometric patterned designs, creating a truly unique and luxurious feel for your space.
One of the timeless parquetry styles is herringbone wood flooring, with its distinctive zig zag pattern that adds movement and visual interest to any room. From basketweave designs to chevron patterns, our wood parquetry options allow you to create a truly bespoke floor that reflects your individual style.
Wooden or timber floors offer a wide range of benefits through design, durability, and versatility. Sustainably sourced wooden floors are some of the most environmentally friendly flooring systems around that only get better with age.
A timber floor can be varnished in a wide range of shades to take the same piece of wood from natural light brown to a dark brown or a light grey giving you total freedom to find a shade that suits the rest of your home.
Tiles and concrete flooring systems can make rooms with less soft furnishing sound tinnie and cavernous and feel cold. This is due to the hardness of these surfaces reflecting higher pitch frequencies whereas wood floors have a lower hardness and absorb more of these higher pitch sounds reducing echo and making rooms feel more warmer and more comfortable.
The natural neutral earth tones of timber flooring can fit alongside a wide variety of colour pallets from earthy oranges and yellows, to modern whites and off-whites or funky greens and blues. This versatility means that nearly every home suits timber boards flooring.
The installation of a wood floor is as important as picking the right floor type. An incorrectly installed floor can greatly reduce the longevity of the floor and turn your home into one big tripping hazard as floor boards warp or shift from incorrect installation. That is why we offer a team of expert flooring installers that can make your floor fit perfectly and look as good as possible.
