Hybrid Vinyl Bleached Spotted Gum

Do’s of caring for hybrid vinyl flooring

  • Clean the spills immediately with a soft cloth.
  • No shoes inside the home policy can keep the floors clean and minimises the transfer of dirt from outside.
  • Use doormats at the entrances and indoors to prevent damage from outside dirt, sand, and abrasive particles from shoes. Clean the mats regularly.
  • Clean the floor regularly with a vacuum, broom or mop to remove any dirt which might scratch the floor. Use a neutral cleaner.
  • Use blinds and curtains to protect the floor from fading or damage due to direct sunlight.
  • Keep surface guards and felt pads on the furniture so that if you move the furniture around, it doesn’t scratch or dent the floor.

Don'ts of cleaning hybrid floors

  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or nylon scouring pads on the floor.
  • Do not use a steam mop on the floor.
  • Stilettos or studs on football boots can scratch or dent the floor so avoid wearing them indoors.
  • Do not use oil, soap, wax or polish on the floors as they can leave a dull finish on the floor.
