  1. Have all the required tools on hand
  2. Clean your subfloor perfectly
  3. Place the smooth edge around the perimeter of the room, making sure it's secure
  4. Roll out the underfelt and ensure it sits on the smooth edge
  5. Secure the underfelt to the smooth edge
  6. Bring in your carpet
  7. Roll out and ensure it is smooth, butt it up to the wall, and cut where necessary
  8. Secure with joining tape, press firmly

  • Vinyl Planks

  2. Seal your subfloor before laying your planks
  3. Mark the centre line on your floor
  4. Lay the first row of vinyl plank flooring
  5. Continue laying more rows of vinyl plank flooring
  6. Lay your planks around your cabinetry
  7. Lay a short end of vinyl plank flooring
  8. Your vinyl plank flooring is now complete and ready to walk on

  1. Have all the required tools on hand
  2. Prepare the room and clean the floors
  3. Install the underlay
  4. Allow the vinyl floor to acclimate to the room by leaving it in the room it is to be installed
  5. There are two ways to measure and fit vinyl-

# 1 You can measure the entire floor area and then cut the vinyl 3 inches wider than the floor area on all sides, lay and trim the excess vinyl 

# 2 You can make a template of the floor layout, using the template you can make the proper cuts before laying it in place. This method is suitable for thinker vinyl or in rooms that are hard to fit due to angles and recesses.

  1. Apply adhesive to secure the vinyl to the floor - match the proper adhesive to the type of floor
  2. Cure the adhesive
  3. Lay the vinyl in place
  4. Affix the remaining floor

Finish the bonding

  1. Install the moulding and door
  2. Remove excess adhesive
  3. Allow to dry before reassembling the room.

  • Timber Flooring

  1. Have all the required tools on hand
  2. Clean the floor and remove any existing floor covering
  3. Leave expansion gaps around the edges around 10mm should be enough
  4. Put down the underlay
  5. Lay the planks by snapping the planks together then lay them down
  • Laminate Flooring

It&rsquo's extremely durable, and highly moisture resistant,  made from refined wood fibers and high-quality melamine resin that won’t break down over time. In addition, it's virtually maintenance-free, so once installed, all you'll need to do is enjoy its beauty for years down the line.

Tips for laying laminate flooring -

  1. Have all the required tools on hand
  2. Clean the floor and make sure it is free from  dirt and debris
  3. Lay the underlay, this will provide extra cushioning
  4. Run a string line- Measure the width of your laminate board. Add 10mm to take into account the gap between the wall and the first board
  5. Set a border between rooms to ensure the floor covering meets under the middle of the door.
  6. Lay the first row of boards
  7. Cutting a board, make sure the joins in the boards aren't aligned. Measure and mark the halfway point on the board, cut with a circular saw
  8. Start the second row of boards
  9. Close the gaps between the boards, by using a hammer and tapping block to gently knock them into place
  10. Continue laying the remainder of the boards
  11. Cut the boards where necessary, ie around corners
  12. Cut the first length of the quad - if there is a gap between the skirting board install a quad
