If you are torn between hybrid vinyl flooring and laminate flooring let's take a look at the pros and cons of each type so you can make the best decision for your home.
Every homeowner will have different needs, and factors to consider such as style, functionality and budget to help them arrive at the right choice.
Let's start by saying both types of flooring have their own unique benefits that you should consider before making a decision. However when it comes to the installation both have a similar method, making the installation process easier than other flooring options.
‘Go with hybrids’ if you want the look and feel of real wood combined with the durability of vinyl. Hybrid flooring will offer the warm, classic look of hardwood floors but you won't have to worry about scratches or water damage, as hybrid vinyl is extremely durable.
‘Go with laminate' to get a stylish, affordable option that still looks like a high-end flooring finish. Laminate is very easy to clean and doesn’t show scuffs or dirt as easily.
Hybrid vinyl flooring is made to look like real wood or stone, making it an excellent option to suit modern or traditional decors. Another bonus of hybrid vinyl floors is you don’t have to worry about spills or dirt – just sweep or mop it up and you’re done.
It comes in a wide variety of colours, is easy to instal,l and suits most household budgets.
This flooring is slightly softer than SPC and quieter underfoot.
This flooring is slightly more durable and dense compared to WPC, it is resistant to water damage, and will stand up better against scuff marks, stains, scratches or dents.
Laminate flooring is practical, hard-wearing and affordable, and can handle high traffic with minimal damage. Laminate is considered a budget flooring option, however, it still offers a wide variety of stylish options and colours that will suit any home decor.
Laminate flooring is manufactured using three internal layers of fibre board complete with a fourth layer of transparent, water-resistant overlay which makes the surface resistant to most stains, wear, impact, scratches, burns and household chemicals.
No matter what you decide, we guarantee you won’t be disappointed with your new flooring!
